20 Inspirational Quotes About Blogging

I do write some quotes to express how I feel especially about blogging. Whenever I feel down I just look at these quotes to make me feel better. Sometimes in life, we meet challenges, hurdles, and all kind of obstacles. There are days that we wake up feeling totally unmotivated to do anything.

So here I am helping you to go through some of your tough and sometimes bumpy days. Here are 20 inspirational quotes about blogging.

  • You have to make a decision to write for your readers, not to try to find more readers for your writing.
  • Anyone can start a blog, but the real test is getting readers.
  • Finding success is all about taking action. You can read all you want, but nothing will happen until you start doing something.
  • Today, if you want to get noticed, you need to create remarkable content. Quality beats quantity on every level.
  • It’s better to create ONE remarkable piece in a month than to publish numerous boring articles every week.
  • It might sound good in theory, but who is your target reader? “Everyone?”
  • Some fail because they don’t have a purpose. Some fail because they didn’t have clearly-defined goals. Some fail because people’s hearts just weren’t into them.
  • As bloggers, we all know that it feels so good to be mentioned in another bloggers post. But the real “feel good” part comes from when readers tell you how your specific blog post helped them or inspired them.
  • Transparency is very important in blogging – more important that you possibly realise. Readers connect with you much more when you’re willing to show that you’re a real person … just like them.
  • If you try too hard to be original, you’re probably going to fail as a blogger. So what should you do? Read the works of others. See what’s successful in your particular blogging niche. Take someone else’s idea and put your own spin on it. Make it your own. Make it better.
  • A “magic formula” or easy blueprint for achieving blogging success does not exist. Success is hard work. Some people look for reasons to give up or not try.
  • Success (often) takes time. True, sometimes success happens fast. Some blogs and bloggers get big and popular so fast it makes you go “how the heck did that happen?” It’s the desire to be like these bloggers — the desire to speed up the be successful process — which causes people to seek out magic formulas and shortcuts.
  • If you want to succeed as a blogger, you’re going to have to roll up your sleeves and work at it.
  • Everyone defines success differently. Don’t compare yourself to others, or your blog to other blogs, especially if your definition of success differs from theirs.
  • Your blog post needs to be a journey for your reader, a journey with a point of departure and a clear destination. And it needs to be a journey worth taking.
  • If your destination is for the readers to learn something, it means that by the time they’ve finished reading your post, either they will have gained new information or they’ll have discovered a new way of doing something.
  • Blogging can be jarringly personal – like ripping your heart out and offering it up to strangers. Like it or not, putting your ideas in the public domain and running the risk that someone might not like them – even hate them – is the price of entry for being a successful blogger.
  • Remember, if someone has a negative reaction to something you wrote, that means your writing is powerful. Your writing caused someone to react. And that’s got to be a good thing.
  • The more time you put into your blog, the more successful it becomes. The more successful your blog becomes, the more it demands of your time.
  • We bloggers are often our own worst enemies. We’ll sit down at a computer with a cup of coffee ready to “blog.” That’s good. But the problem is “blogging” isn’t a singular activity. It’s many activities.
